Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines acceptable practices when using NOX. It applies to all users, including free trial accounts, paid subscribers, and API consumers. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund. We encourage you to report suspected violations to abuse@noxassistant.com.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use NOX to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on others' rights. This includes hate speech, child exploitation material, malware, phishing attempts, and content promoting violence or self-harm.
3. System Abuse
You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, access other users' data, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or disrupt the service. Automated scripts that degrade service performance are prohibited. Vulnerability disclosures should follow our responsible disclosure program.
4. Intellectual Property
You may not use NOX to reproduce copyrighted material without authorization, generate counterfeit content, impersonate individuals or organizations, or misappropriate trade secrets. You represent that all content you input complies with applicable intellectual property laws.
5. API and Automation
API usage must comply with our rate limits and documentation. Automated access that circumvents user interfaces, exceeds fair use thresholds, or interferes with other customers is prohibited. Caching of API responses must respect cache-control headers.
6. Enforcement
Violations are investigated promptly. We may suspend access during investigations. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent account termination. We cooperate with law enforcement when required. Appeals can be submitted to appeals@noxassistant.com within 14 days of enforcement action.
